Opera performance by Litz Plummer

6:45-7:45 p.m. Wilsey Court

Miss Litz Plummer, San Francisco's very own Opera Lady, surprises and delights listeners with her angelic soprano voice. Join her on a musical journey that will introduce you to some of the haunting and beautiful melodies of French composers contemporary to the breathtaking art, which will surround you. Plummer has performed in such varied venues as the Legion of Honor, the de Young and Asian Art Museums, Martuni's, The Punchline, Broadway Studios, Copia, and the Eagle Tavern.

Velocity Circus

7:45-8:30 p.m. Wilsey Court

Velocity Circus will bring to light the popular performing art spectacles of the French impressionist era...with a twist. A Pas de Deux performed on point to contemporary music, female Can-Can acrobats welcome a male to their posse, a time traveling Ring Master du Cirque, and the sinuous contortions of circus artists both inspire and are inspired by the brush strokes of impressionism.

And here is one performance from last year of which I am very proud:

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009, 7:15 p.m.

Miss Litz sang the National Anthem at the San Francisco Giants home game at AT&T Park for Italian Heritage Night.

Here's Litz in 2003 from the San Francisco Chronicle's pictoral tour through the Barbary Coast Trail. This picture was taken at Maiden Lane and Grant Street, which just happens to be at one of the turns in the Trail. Since she sings opera on the streets, bringing some of that grand art's most friendly and glorious music to hundreds of unsuspecting shoppers a week, and since she's there just about every weekend, she is now, apparently, part of the Trail!
